Become Amazing At Spotting New Money Making Opportunities

Many years ago, I was working with a coach to help me grow my business. At the time, I had a deep-seated belief that I didn’t know what to do and thus couldn’t do it.

My coach challenged me to make a list of one hundred ways to make more money. At first, I was shocked and convinced that I couldn’t think of that many ideas!

But I decided to trust her and to give the list a try. It took a couple of days and the help of a few of my friends and slowly, the list came together.

This exercise was the first step on my journey to becoming a great money maker! It taught me to always look for new ways to make money and to always act on the most lucrative ideas. I hope the exercise will do the same for you and help you reach your financial goals.

Growing Your Money Can Be Fun And Easy

In today’s blog post, I will be sharing twenty-one examples of how you can begin to create more money, starting right now.

Some of the examples might seem doable for you, some not. Some may not feel profitable enough, others might feel like a good next step.

My intention with sharing this list is to inspire you to think of new, creative ways to reach your financial goals.

There are countless ways to increase your income, you just have to discover them and then be willing to take action. When you give this a try, you’ll find that this game is actually a lot of fun.

Ready? Let’s go:

Here Are Twenty-One Ways To Make More Money

  1. Apply for a promotion at your current job.

  2. Apply to ten new positions and see if you can find one that offers better terms and pays you better than your current one.

  3. Raise your prices.

  4. Take on a side job.

  5. Start another business.

  6. Sell old items found in your home.

  7. Put on a workshop to teach something you are great at.

  8. Contact previous clients to see if now is a good time to work together again.

  9. Contact current and previous clients and see if they have any contacts that could use your help.

  10. Think of a new offer that’s easy to create that you can share with your audience now.

  11. Sell something you’ve made in the past that sold well at the time.

  12. Think of a small favor you are great at and that you can get paid for. Can you pet sit, house sit, mow someone’s lawn, buy groceries or rent out your home on airbnb while you’re away on vacation?

  13. Think of a talent you have that comes easily to you and how you might be able to get paid for it. For example, if you are a great singer, can you perform at weddings or birthday parties?

  14. Ask around to see if anyone needs anything you can help them with. You might find collaboration or business opportunities otherwise hidden from you.

  15. Make a list of your contacts and regularly keep in touch with them, letting them know that you are looking for new clients or business opportunities.

  16. Write a book and sell it.

  17. Make something creative, like jewelry or a painting and then sell it.

  18. Coach somebody on something you are great at. For example, if you are a great dancer, you could teach somebody how to dance.

  19. Focus on your networking and see if you can connect with more people who need what you are offering.

  20. Make friends with people who are in your industry and see if you can refer each other clients. For example, if you are an interior designer, making friends with realtors might be a great next step.

  21. Make a list of the people who didn’t buy from you because of a lack of money and offer them a more accessible way to get started.

There are many, many, many more ideas, so please keep your eyes and ears open and write down every single one that pops into your mind. I also recommend writing down the not-so-great ideas, because they might lead you to think of some better ones that you might feel inspired to act on.

In essence, this exercise is about training you to be amazing at spotting new, creative ways to make more money.

When you’ve practiced this skill, you’ll feel much calmer and more secure, because you’ll know that you can always create more cash. You’ll also discover that the opportunities and resources you need to implement your idea are always already right under your nose. Amazing, right?
